As the title says, Im a 35 year old woman with a fairly successful career, friends, hobbies, (mostly) stable mental health…but I’m missing that deeper connection with someone. The intimacy of sharing memes and fears, of texting way past bedtime, and of holding space in your life for someone else.
While the occasional excursion is fun I’m definitely someone who loves being home. I picked up a gnarly reading habit during covid and ever since I’d so much rather stay in and read with my dog curled up at my feet.
When I do venture out into the world I like things that encourage quality time with my friends and family - brunch or dinner just catching up, checking out a new museum exhibit, escape rooms, etc.
Once a theater kid always a theater kid. I love any live theater from Broadway to Shakespeare. I’m one of those childless millennials who loves Disney.
I’m an open book, sarcastic, irreverent, non-judgmental and enjoy getting to know people.I’m a fantastic friend and sounding board. I’m progressive, aggressively pro-choice, body and sex positive, emphatically believe the earth is round and we landed on the moon.
Currently I live in Texas but making plans to get out before it’s too late. Where to? I’m not sure yet.
I don’t want to put too many constraints in what I’m looking for, friend, lover, enemy, someone to sweep me off my feet - I’m open to all possibilities! But would prefer you be around my age, plus or minus 10 years.
If you read all of the above and think we’d get along I’d love to hear from you. Don’t be afraid to introduce yourself, who are you? What makes you tick? What is the most interesting thing about you?
And since this is the internet, here’s my sentient skin suit
