My guest network inexplicably changed to 5ghz.

I'm not really sure what happened but when I came home from work my guest network had been changed to a 5ghz network. I was using the 2.4 for all our smart home stuff as some don't support 5ghz. does anyone know how to make my guest network use the 2.4ghz band?
