What did it cost? Who did you have to talk to to get Fibre laid to your location. Home or business? I'm about 3-4 miles away from a CenturyLink central office, and about 2 miles from the nearest CenturyLink subscriber, with several small clusters of service just minutes away, but Business class (I would prefer the business class SLA, since uptime is critical for me) says they can't move a truck to get fibre to my address because I'm technically a residential address and that residential has to do that. Residential says they can't roll trucks at all, and won't even let me speak with a manager unless I subscribe to their absolutely shite 3/768 DSL service for literally the same price as a 940/940 fibre.
All I want is to pay someone a few grand, and get a GPON lit up at my DMARC in the home office. Why can't I even find someone willing to quote me a price without having to whip out a credit card?
If it matters any, I'm in Washington, just a little south of Seattle, and fed up with Xfinity's shoddy reliability and low upload speeds.
