Post Body

Built in 1892. I'm looking for plans, blueprints, drawings or any other information about a house like this. It lost its porch in 1965 due to a hurricane it had an original wrap around porch with a sunroom on one side and the Portico on the other side. I would like to rebuild the porch to the original style, look and size. The clapboard on the house was matched very well so it's hard to tell the exact size of the porch and wear it ended on the sides of the house. The house is located outside of Aiken South Carolina. The house is a four bedroom house with three bedrooms upstairs and one downstairs. It has a lot of closets, 7 fireplace , 2 large chimneys and one kitchen chimney. I would consider the house Style neoclassical? The floor plan of the house looks original it just looks like the porch was taken off and there was a back staircase that probably went to the back porch somehow and that was not replaced. You can see in a picture where the back staircase went upstairs and I can see where it was not replaced when the bathroom was made a little larger in the 1960s in the last picture you can see that slight Notch for the back staircase in the ceiling . any information about the house would be greatly appreciated and any drawings pictures or floor plans. Thanks Robert
