I moved into a 108 year old bungalow style SFH in Chicago last year. Question on upkeep.
Post Body

The house is fairly well maintained with no major issues flagged during inspection except some old romex electrical that need to be removed.

I took pictures of all the random cracks in trim, drywall and window frames when I first moved. A years later I am not seeing them expand but I do occasionally see a new one appear in a random place. How concerned do I need to be about addressing these ? Any way to determine what is a cosmetic issue due ti the weather related expansion and contraction vs a real issue ?
