After a weekend filled with short bursts of grinding I finally got the last golden of the main game! I died in the cassette room twenty minutes earlier but luckily I was able to get back to 3000m consistently at that point. Did have one major heart attack after I failed my wavedash at checkpoint 2 and was dangling off the left side of the floating block. I quickly paused and searched for my switch to see if I could load up celeste and check if I could make the jump for there. Ultimately I just went for it (and luckily made it).
I feel like the beauty of Celeste's difficulty curve shines through so well with goldens. I couldn't imagine myself clearing 7BG two years ago, but first I did 1a, then 2a, then the c sides... and one by one one gets to the summit.
Now it's time for a short break (to work on those papers I have been postponing because I was chasing after a flying strawberry on a magical mountain) and then it's time to start the last grind~
