Hello all,
I created a Youtube video talking through Binary from a perspective that has made it "click" much more effectively for my students. I wanted to share that video with this community:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrJXLdv1i74
If you're already familiar with Binary, and want to sample a part that makes this video different than all the other videos, I'd say watch from 07:29, and the next 2m30s~. (this link should take you right there)
In a way, I have opposed wanting to teach Binary before. I feel it's made into too much a focus on Subnetting. Hence, my Subnetting series teaches subnetting without focusing on Binary.
BUT.... I set out to make a video on Access Control Lists (ACLs), but to properly understand ACLs, you have to understand Wildcard Masks. So I set out to make a video on Wildcard Masks.... but to properly understand Wildcard Masks, you have to understand Binary. So here we are. =)
This video is a precursor to another video that will teach Wildcard masks. Which will be a precursor to another video that will teach ACLs.
Hope you enjoy =)
