Should I get CCNA for entry level cybersecurity?
Post Body

Hey all. Background- So I started my cybersecurity journey 7 months back and till now I have done google cybersecurity, Sec , and BTL1. I have also been doing a lot of tryhsck me HTB labs. I plan to give my HTB CDSA by April end. Also working on active directory lab and SOC lab. After my masters in cybersecurity (that is ending in May 2025), I want to get an entry level cybersecurity job. I don't have relevant 1 or 2 year it experience, just 5 months of internship in IT. Main question- Should I get the CCNA? I know entry level cybersecurity is difficult but since I am an international student in US, I thought if all.goes bad and I can't land a cybersecurity entry level job after masters, I might atleast get an IT job and later pivot from there. Please tell me if I might be doing the right thing.

THANKS in advance.
