Its been months now

It's been a couple of months since I completed my cisco ccna curriculum. I haven't yet done the exam since I have been working a day and night sgift kind of job. My discount expired on August and I wasn't ready to do it yet. The year is over and still haven't booked the exam. Is there a specific time period for the exam to be done? Or can one book anytime? Please advice.
