I’m sick of going thru fuel pumps and being stranded on the side of the road. I am doing away with the fuel pump, as I’m on a carbureted bike and don’t expect too much issues with the bypass, other than remembering to keep the tank at least halfway filled or risk loosing the pressure to ensure proper fueling and to cut the fuel off via the petcock when the bike isn’t on.
I’ve heard about all the horror stories of fuel starvation at higher rpm’s (unlikely as the vacuum system helps to ensure fuel delivery) but what do y’all have to say about it? I’m only interested in hearing first-hand accounts, not your take or what you heard from friends. Thanks everyone!
I’m really eager to get it done tomorrow so I can finally get out for a nice long ride. Hopefully no issues with it
