Installed new fuel pump after the old one burned out, bike won’t start. Help me get it up again
Post Body

I’m at a loss. I replaced the fuel pump a couple days ago due to the old one being shot. I’m not sure what else to do, it has gas in the tank, there’s fuel in the lines and filter but I’m getting absolutely no sign of combustion. It’s like it’s not getting any fuel to the carbs.

The bike was fine last week. I drove it to a friends house, when I started to head back home it wasn’t acting right. It wasn’t responding to the throttle properly, surging and bogging really bad and eventually the fuel pump gave out.

I got the new one put on and it fired up for a minute but every time I induced throttle it cut out like it wasn’t getting fuel or something. Does anyone have any ideas? It’s a CBR 600F3 (1998)
