New to the game.
I tried sprinkling magic dust on what looked like runic altars (a 3x3 spot on the ground with 4 candles on each corner) but nothing happens... ?? Was that not an altar?
I finally got past location 2 (acid caves) and thought I was going back to the shelter......but I went to location 3 instead and died. I assume it is typical to go back to the shelter every 2 locations to recycle and upgrade, yes?
What does the home portal look like...since I clearly mistook the location portal for the home portal and missed out on sheltering.
