I grew up with only dogs so although I love both dogs and cats, I tend to have less patience for cats.
For 4 months now Iโve been living with a roommate whose cat literally runs into my bedroom door (literally slams its body) in attempts to open it, which it usually succeeds in doing because my door lock is weak, but he DOESNT LET ME/LIKE when I pet him. My roommate told me he waits outside my room all the time, and I can definitely tell that he likes my attention and sometimes even asks to play with toys, but he runs away the second I reach my hand out to pet.
He is very affectionate and cuddly with my roommate, and she was surprised when I told her he wonโt let me pet him. WhAt DoEs ThIs MeAn, and also, how can I get him to trust or like me enough to let me pet him. Treats?
