So I’ve got my 7 year old cat locked in the bedroom because she’s aggressively hissing, batting and trying to corner me. Went to visit someone who had cats who were all over me yesterday and when I returned last night she was at first curious and smelling me and then got aggressive after I picked her up. I try to give her space but she insists on keeping me in view of her and hissing/yowling at me. Ended up with her under the bed growling at me last night when I went to sleep. But I woke up this morning and she was sleeping on the bed and being her usual sweet self. Got up to feed her and the aggression started up again.

She’s only ever done this twice before, a few years ago. Both times were due to a visitor, and after they left she was back to normal after a few hours. I’ve never seen it flare right up again the next day like it has today. I don’t know what to do. If I let her roam around the house all she wants to do it sit near me, hiss and growl and then freak out and try to attack me if I move.
