Like many of you, we've been working from home for the past few months and will continue working from home for quite a few more. It's been a new experience with our year and a half old cats.
One of them is super high energy. He can get very rambunctious, annoying his poor sister with his overly rough play, and annoying us with his "Pay attention to me!" tactics. It seems that no amount of time with interactive toys helps - we play til he doesn't want to play anymore, but a 10 minute catnap later he's back to nibbling sissy's ears and clawing at our office chairs. He especially becomes a terror an hour or so before meal time, when he's both bored and hungry.
I've been wracking my brain on how best to get him to get his energy out in a healthy way. Our other cat is content to bat and pounce small toys like springs and balls, but unless we're playing fetch, he's really not really into those toys.
