She was the “neighborhood” cat and we took her in after learning that her owner put her out. She’s so affectionate and seems to be happy to finally have a home again but she’s got some, quirks. That second picture is what it looks like after one use 🤦🏻♂️
We set her up with a small litter box at first until we could get a bigger one and poor girl was missing and accidentally peeing on the carpet, so we got her a big tall one. Turns out she didn’t like to pee in that one, but she would poop in it.
Then I put back the smaller one next to the big one so she poops in the big one, and pees in the small one but she still kept missing. We got her another bigger litter box and she’s doing better with going to the bathroom.
We decided to lay down puppy pads just to catch any accidents she may still have and it’s working out well, she poops in the tall litter and pees in the short one but when she’s done she just kind of flings the cat litter and it gets everywhere! I’ve never seen a cat this messy before, a litter mat wouldn’t even do anything.
Any other things we could be trying? Lol.
