Post Body

i posted on this page 17 days ago asking if my cat was sick with a list of things that felt off. i thought he got better shortly after posting, but i don’t think that was the case. he is only 5-6 months old. he no longer has any interest in playing with any toys or my dog (they used to play all the time and be best friends). he doesn’t slap me in my face and scream at me to wake up and feed him anymore. he’s not super active all night long making a huge mess anymore. it used to take a day to fill up his litter box but lately it takes 2-3 to fill it up. he usually just lays around all day sleeping now. i’m starting to feel like he may have a uti. i’ve been giving him dry cat food to eat at night since the wet cat food dries up when left out too long. during the day he always has a can of wet food available. i read that dry food can give cats a uti if they aren’t getting enough fluids, but he drinks water regularly and i see him drinking every morning. i don’t think this behavior is normal but maybe it is? his pee clumps used to be the size of a tennis ball, but now it’s golf ball sized. when i try playing with him he will rarely be interested for a few seconds then stop. he’s a healthy weight (5lbs or a little less) and purrs all the time. this is my first cat so im not really skilled on knowing what’s normal and what isn’t. please help me so i know if i need to take him to the vet soon! i hope my baby is ok :(
