Could my lavender lotion be causing my cat to itch?

Post Body

I adopted a cat recently. She’s been scratching a lot and has lost some fur. I haven’t been able to figure out why, though. A thought came to me today — although I don’t use lavender oil diffusers or anything, I like the scent and use it for a lot of stuff. My lotion & body wash are both lavender, and I occasionally use lavender baby oil. Of course, I love to pet my cat and give her scratches. But I’ve been wondering — could it be possible that this is what’s irritating her skin and making her itch so much?
