I’m going through a lot at the moment and the one thing that’s been working is waking up and making three things I’m grateful for. I’m grateful for my cat. We found each other when I had gone to work a little hungover and my boss at the time said someone found a kitten on the side of the road in the rain and was looking for a home. Needless to say, I came home with her and she’s been a handful and a blessing. I named her after my favorite anime character but she’s the opposite of them. She’s indifferent, standoffish, skittish, but she likes to get her coat brushed and if I would stop, she’d swipe at me. I don’t mind all that because I’ve learned a lot about raising a cat that it takes time for it to warm up to you.

My greatest accomplished raising her is the fact that I can walk by her and she’ll just sit there without running off. It’s been 3 years since we’ve met and she’s just about the cutest thing on the planet. But who doesn’t think that. I’m glad I have someone to be with. She’s picky, spoiled, and acts too posh for me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Here are some photos I’ve taken of her. Anyway I’m happy to have found this sub.
