My cat keeps bringing my daughter "presents", HELP!

Post Body

My youngest and only surviving cat has always been fond of my 6yo daughter, she waits on her at her bedroom door and will sit there for long periods of time when my daughter isn't here, meowing and moaning. I thinking this is relevant somehow. My cat is also a roamer and a hunter, her grandmother was a rodent catcher at the stables and this is a trait both her and her mom inherited. Over time I've saved many little birds and geckos etc from her clutches, all of which she usually runs straight to my daughter room to which I kinda thought she did because we don't really go in there when she is at school. But lately, both to my horror and dismay, she has found a new prime pray. Absolutely giant cockroaches. I have no idea from where. Because we definitely don't have any in our house and I've never seen any in our yard either. We have some crickets and that's about it. This led to a daily thing of my daughter calling me to come and remove dead or almost dead cockroaches from her room, with the cat staring wide eyed as I dispose of what I know only think might be "presents". My daughter is visiting her grandma for a week and as moms do I was missing her and decided to come and have a chill on her bed while scrolling etc. People, when I tell you the bedroom floor is has at least 6 instantly visible large cockroaches just laying there, and I'm to scared now to check all of the nooks and crannies. It irks me to think about the ones that survive, this feels like a cockroach invasion just waiting to happen. I've already decided that my daughter's door will be closed from now in when she isn't home at least, but she still sleeps with the door open and I'm scared this will only make my kitty more creative, how in the hell do I stop this before it snowballs any more? We live in a small town in Africa where it is more than likely that the cockroach infestation is just around the corner, but honestly most people will barely do anything about it, and unless it's a restaurant or something you can't really force them. Help!
