This is Nik. He started casually hanging out on my lawn 5-6 months ago. He's since decided he lives here. I leave my back room door open, so he can come and go into my sun room to eat, sleep and hang out. It's connected to the house AC/Heat, so he starts fed and comfortable. I'd let him inside, but he fights everything he sees, and I have two 7-8 month old cats inside.
I have no issues with Nik living here. He's sweet.. to me, and nobody else. The problem is that he demands pets and if I pet him, the moment I stop he will aggressively attack, slicing open skin and biting like his life depends on it. He never fails to draw blood and rip clothes. After he attacks and runs off, he'll come back a moment later like nothing happened, wanting to do it all over again. It's gotten to the point where if I step outside, I have to keep my legs covered with cushions.
Is there anything I can do to curb this behavior? It's become.. intense.
