So I’m home for the holidays again and I brought my 3yr old cat home with me. Historically, my cat does not like being around dogs, as when I first brought her home a few months ago she immediately hissed from her cage at the dogs (medium sized young labradoodle & 12 yr old 80 pound very tired labradoodle). They both want to sniff the cat, but I’ve never let them come into contact. I realize that letting them into the same room is probably not a great idea, so what are some ways to calm the dog’s curiosity and the cats scaredness?
