My 2yr old cat, Sundance, has been my best friend since the day we got him. He sleeps on my head, constantly purrs, and doesn’t leave my side.

We got another kitten this week, and stupidly put them together right away, since I never imagined Sundance would be anything but happy and chill.

Since then, he’s completely resented me. He’s not hostile towards the kitten, but growls at me and doesn’t come near me much.

I restarted the introduction and have been keeping them in separate rooms since and plan to scentswap.

Did I just ruin my amazing relationship with Sundance? How can I try to fix what I did? I haven’t stopped crying since the kitten came home.
