I got my 13 week old kitten today (Mochi) and she’s settling in really well. She has been eating her dry food that she came with (until I incorporate wet in but I want to see what her bowel movements are like first), she’s been non-stop playing, drinking water, she leaves the room and walks out and explores a little now, and she has been relaxed enough to stretch out and show me her tummy. It’s insane to me how well she is doing considering I brought her home 6 hours ago. She is still very skittish at times of course. She was apparently litter trained. She has gone into her litter box multiple times to sniff around or have a little scratch, and lick the edges for some reason?? But she has no interest for peeing and pooping. It’s only been 6 hours so I will wait til overnight but I just wanted to know if others had this issue where their kitten didn’t pee for a while.

Everything I’ve googled has said go to the vet kittens pee 4-6 times a day but she hasn’t been straining to pee or poop and is not in any discomfort or pain, she just simply hasn’t tried. I am really hoping I wake up to a cat poop in the morning and I never, ever thought I would say that lmao.
