I scoop his litter box 3x a day. I’ve changed his litter type twice. He has the biggest litter box I could find. I brought him to the vet and they couldn’t find anything wrong with him (I was thinking maybe a UTI). I change out his entire litterbox with clean litter every week. He seems very happy in our home (I took him in for a friend who had a bf allergic to cats). We have a small dog, but they get a long really well and the dog never goes in my bathroom where the litter box is.

I’m going out of my mind. I’ve gotten into the habit of leaving my bath mat out of his reach but sometimes I slip and forget to hang it after a shower and the moment I do, he fucking pisses on it. And he pisses like a god damn race horse. I swear he pees at least 1.5 cups every time. He pees on bath mats but not our floor rugs….which I am thankful for but how the hell does he even know the difference?

I need help. I’m about to consider rehoming him because the stench of cat piss is disgusting to me
