Just had a flight with a cat.
Post Body

flights and air travel nowadays is bad enough as is but being highly allergic and having to be on a 6 hour flight with a cat is bad awful and uncomfortable to say the least.

But thereā€™s more. On my last flight I shit you not the owner let the cat out of the carrier and let it loose. It got up to the front some how and the flight attendants had to make an announcement about them finding such said black and grey cat- to my surprise people laughed and went ā€œawwwā€ - well Iā€™m not really surprised rather shocked. That shit is not cute and humans are crazy when it comes to cats. Iā€™m pretty sure thatā€™s illegal but hey what ever crazy cat people and cats generally get a pass. Iā€™ve seen videos online of people who have let their cat out of the carrier and loose on a flight I just never thought Iā€™d ever be on a flight with one. I just canā€™t imagine the thought process and audacity of the owner thinking such a thing is okay or safe. Bringing a pet aboard especially one that provides zero service to the owner is already pretty annoying but I mean Jesus why let it out.

I wish flights would at least inform you that thereā€™s a going to be animals aboard for those of us deeply allergic. Itā€™s a safety issue. Iā€™ve been hospitalized many times from being too close and exposed to cats. In an ideal world I guess. Also in an ideal world there would be flights just for pet transport or ones guaranteed to be free of animals in cabin. Okay my rant and tangent is over have a good day.
