Not Sure If I Need to Consider a New Drt
Post Body

Posted to the cat advice sub before realizing this sub existed.

I have a Devon Rex kitten that’s about 4 months old. She is super food motivated, but once I ran out of the food I got with her (Royal Canin Kitten Up to 12mos Dry Food made in South Korea)- I bought the same food but in America where we live. She is no longer excited to eat and only does so when she’s tired after an intense play session. When I mix wet food (Royal Canin Kitten) in with her lunch- she eats around the dry kibble. When I mixed the wet food with the Korean RC kibble, she would gobble everything.

Should I consider switching brands gradually or try a different dry cat food within the same brand? I see RC has a mother and kitten up to 4 months dry food (I’m feeding her the kitten up to 12).

I’m just nervous because she’s been eating less than usual for about 2 weeks now. I don’t want her development impacted because she isn’t eating enough. She’s not underweight and the vet said she is okay otherwise.
