Question for my fellow catfishermen.....who chums when they fish? And if so, what do you use? For the last year and a half I've had terrible luck catching catfish. Just looking for new options to increase my luck. A little background.....I'm in northeast Kansas, I typically fish evening and nights, I fish from the bank (no boat access), I fish lakes and spillways. Not looking for giant fish, just some good eaters (2-10 pounds). Bait wise I use everything from cured livers, garlic Kool aid chicken breast, worms, cut bait (bluegills). Would love to hook into some smaller flathead, (best tasting catfish in my opinion) but blues and channel are perfectly ok with me as well.
