I just got a new kitten who is 8 weeks old. She just started acting sick and throwing up yesterday. I couldnt find dewormer for cats anywhere so i got dog dewormer with the same active ingredient (pyrantel) and calculated dosage for her (5mg) i got her to swallow it i am pretty sure. About an hour after taking it she threw up 2 worm, pretty sure they are round worms. My question is, how soon will i know its workin?!?! I dont know if i should give her more because she threw up or if she even spit it up because she was holding it in her mouth for a long time when i was trying to get her to swallow it. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
