So it started out as dlc, big deal. Considering the alternative was actual dlc, which we also did get, and instead got something more and better, I’m happy.
Outside of that, a game purely meant for the purpose of dlc can still exist as dlc and already does: Super Mario Galaxy 2.
I’m not saying it’s bad because it started out as dlc, or that it’s good because it’s not. The game lags but it lets me explore the world I was once familiar with in new ways and rehone my skills.
My point is, I hate to see that argument used because of you decide to criticize a game based on what its original concept was we wouldn’t have that many games, if any at all. I’m glad to play through totk and enjoy it a fair bit. I’m just a bit upset to see people get upset because it was originally supposed to be dlc.
