I’ve rewatched both a couple times now. The art styles feel wildly different and that’s not a bad thing. Castlevania is darker, but the colors stand out more, that may not make sense. The animation flows very well though. I can’t recall noticing any characters in any scenes looking like a robot.
Nocturne was very bright, I loved the huge pallets of colors and the flash of it. The animation was so noticeably stiff though. I felt like I was reading a book with pictures at times. It was blatant.
Was nocturne effected by the strike or something?
