I always read on here about people taking 15-20 minutes or longer to preheat their pans to correct cooking temp. i always why are they preheating for so long? My old stove it only took like 5 minutes to get my pan to temp.
My new stove now takes 15-20 minutes to get to temp. My new glass top electric(not induction) has replaced my old coil electric which was shorting out against the wall. I have better control over temp as well. It will take getting used to.
Cooked a Rib eye (no pictures sorry) turned out amazing! Tender Juicy just a hair over medium.
