Reseasoning my cast iron
Post Body

Hello guys, I came to the right place to get tips for re-seasoning my cast iron. I had it in good condition and then my landlord sent a cleaning crew over to do the house And freshen it up. However, great as that was they put my cast iron in the dishwasher and it ruined it. So, my question is what is the best way to take it down to bare metal so I can re-reseason it. I’ve seen somewhere that a lye bath would work, potentially electrolysis, but my first idea was to get a wire brush attachment for my electric drill and take it down. Is it a combination of them? Thanks
