Christmas morning, we had brunch at my parents' house. My mother is an avid cast-iron skillet user; I've been using cast-iron skillets through her since before I could remember. She taught me how to care for and cater to my skillet. Over this past year, when I moved out, she gifted me an Ozark cast-iron skillet, which I take care of with pride and joy. My current seasoning looks and works amazing.
My job this Christmas brunch was to take care of the bacon, so I did it between the Griswold and another random griddle pan. But I wanted to show you guys what her cast skillet looks like because I know you guys will take appreciation to it. Before encountering this thread on Reddit, I never knew what a Griswold was; my mother knew!
