Best brick and mortar places to find a recorder/player?

Post Body

Title basically. I’ve been searching low and high in my area to find an (ideally portable) cassette recorder. Checked the local thrifts, which I haven’t done in a while, and to my surprise, cassette accoutrements, which when I was at thrift stores more regularly a couple years ago, were the dust gathering mainstays of any given goodwill, were instead nowhere to be found. Don’t really feel like ordering from Amazon, and a lot of the shipping on fb marketplace has been ludicrous for what I’ve seen. Even checked Walmart & Best Buy near me and couldn’t find anything.

So if anyone knows of any stores that still often have cassette stuff in stock, please let me know. Quality isn’t really a huge issue, because this is mostly for a sort of lo fi spoken word writing/poetry project that will likely not see the light of day anyway. I’m in the Denver/Boulder metro area. Any leads would be appreciated.
