Bridgecrest/Repossession Question

Post Body

I purchased my vehicle October of 2021 from Carvana. Since then I've made full, on-time payments for it until just recently. I'm in a bit of a tight spot for a couple months and so was unable to make my most recent payment. On the advice of the person I spoke with at Bridgecrest I did make a partial payment, however.

Things I would like to know:

Generally, how long does Bridgecrest take to repossess a vehicle?

The payment which I am behind on was due 11/29. I may be able to pay it off before the next payment comes due with partial payments, but this is questionable. I know for certain I will be able to pay it once a deposit arrives on January 25th.

Is Bridgecrest likely to repossess before then?

The person I spoke with on the phone said they only do one month extensions on loans. She advised me to keep making partial payments all of this month and then call one day after my next payment is due to apply for a loan extension.

Does anyone have any experience with that?
