Hi all. I've read a mix of good & bad reviews about Carvana so I'm on the fence. I would be trading by current vehicle for a '14 Q50 Hybrid with 63,xxx mi. The carfax looks pretty good, a few outside-of-maintenance fixes. I called a few dealerships on the carfax to get more clarification, but anyways:
1) I'm located in TX and I *think* the car's in CA. Does Carvana charge shipping to have it shipped from one Carvana hub to another (I would go to one of the Houston, TX hubs)?
2) Dumb question but just to verify - I can trade in my vehicle at a Carvana hub (I don't have to have the vehicle delivered to my house in order for me to trade in my car)?
3) I would be interested in buying the Carvanacare Plus (middle-tier extended warranty). I know it's dependent on the car but could anyone give me a ballpark on how much it would cost for this particular vehicle, and how long the extended warranty year/mi term is?
4) I have the vehicle reserved with a $100 refundable deposit. I believe it only lasts for 7 days. The car is in the reconditioning & detailing phase. At the end of 7 days, when the $100 is refunded to me, do I just repeat the process and reserve it again?
Thanks! Sorry for all of the questions!
