Post purchase issues
Post Body

Purchased a car through Carvana, my in depth reviews are posted here for you to read, a month and a half after purchase, problems arose... heres what transpired.

Thanks to so many of you for requesting my referral code, I had given it out over 50 times, and while I was only able to get $1000 back, I know the code was still working for people to save $500 on their car purchase. Knowing that it was well over 10 people I began to call Carvana asking where my referral check was and how many I had coming to me, ($100 at a time) I was sent round and round about how many it would be, and some people were still on their test drive, some haven't had the car delivered yet, ect... so about two weeks ago I escalate this to the "executive resolutions" team, who pretty much are the same people, they just tell you this to feel good. They tell me I need to provide the name and type of car for every individual that I referred to Carvana...HAHAHA that isn't going to happen, so after complaining that I didnt keep track of all 50 of my friends, they bypassed that and told me that I needed to fill out a W9 tax form the get a check. I did, and emailed it back to them. A few days later I called to check up, and they didnt get the W9, so I re-emailed it back, they didnt get it instantly, but he would call me back in an hour and let me know....callback never came. Week into this, call and ask, the rep asked me to send it again to the resolutions team...I did, no response, no money, they are hanging me out to dry. At this point I have filed a BBB complaint against Carvana due to they have not paid me my $1000 referral bonus.

TAG ISSUES: In Alabama, I had to pay them to register the car for me, they would "mail me my tag" which was unusual and as many cars as I have purchased I have never had that happen in my life, usually you take the paperwork to the DMV and get your own tag, well I was given a GA 45 day temp tag because we picked it up at the vending machine in Atlanta, on day 41, the State of AL in my county called and said I have all your paperwork for your tag, as well as a blank check, you can come get your tag, due to being out of town, I wasn't able to make it in until the day after my tag expired, got my tag, the lady in the tag office said the paperwork was all messed up, but corrected it, and charged Carvana a late fee for the tag due to Alabama you have to register in 20 days after purchase, She wrote this into the amount on the blank check and told me she did that to maybe teach them a lesson about getting on the ball, of course my contract is already signed so the fees cant come back on me. So I have my car, my tag, but not my $1000 so I cant say im through with Carvana yet, when my check comes and is cleared the bank, ill be happy.
