This will probably turn out to be one of those 'brain dead' moments for me but at this point I'm willing to accept it.
Pretty sure this was an 80s cartoon. What I remember is the main characters of the cartoon had magical weapons that glowed blue. When they were thrown/used they would magically come back to them. I specifically remember one character using throwing stars and had a bracer on that they came back to.
I've used Google and asked everyone I know over the years. If you can help, I would very much be in your debt!
