Question about dash cams

Quick question to my fellow /Cars posters. Do you have or know of a good quality dash cam for every day driving? I have been looking for a decent dash cam for a few weeks and haven't really found anything that jump out at me as a quality product. Im looking for something that I can hardwire in that starts recording once the car is started and records over the old footage. Any products or ideas?
