Rebuilt from a 50-year-old barn find, this 1962 Ford Galaxie 500 Racer is more like new old stock than a true restoration. As part of its rebirth, which was overseen using a 1962 FIA Rule Book, it saw all-steel body modifications and was outfitted with a completely refreshed Ford 390 stroked to 406 cubic inches, to go along with period-correct racing equipment from the likes of Holley, Hurst, and Borg Warner. The interior is spartan and also period-correct, which matches the vintage-inspired livery with hand-painted lettering and graphics.
