I have a problem, I love arguably terrible cars, I've owned over 40 vehicles in my life. Mazdas, saabs, oldsmobiles, chevy's, fords, infinitis, the list goes on. I currently have 3 SUVs, 2 trucks, and a wagon. But I just bought a 2000 Cadillac Catera, and couldn't be more excited for it.
I recognize that this is one of the least loved cars ever, and it's pretty evidenced by just how few of them even exist anymore. I've almost bought one a few times over the years, Most of the time, people have just wanted way too much money, or the service history was just terrible, or obviously just not well maintained cars.
It feels like they went from being owned/leased by grandmas to being handed down to kids who couldn't afford the repair costs so when they had mechanical issues they went straight to the junk yard.
not sure what the point of this post is, other than I have nobody else to share my excitement with. My wife just rolls her eyes, My parents would give me a lecture, and I don't have many car people friends.

My 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero (2.8 V6 turbo with a manual) is still hands down my favorite car I’ve ever owned.
Comfy, quick, weird, sipped fuel.
