DCTs and newer automatic transmissions ruined manual for me.
Post Body

1 (25M) have had my DL since I was 16 and learned to drive on an automatic. I learned to drive manual with a 350z at 18 and absolutely loved it. At the time it was the most I've ever enjoyed driving a car. I sold the Z and got a ton of cars over the past few years (all automatic).

I've owned several sports and exotic cars and have driven several hyper cars. Anything from a 488 and huracan to an svj. Absolutely infatuated with the transmissions in these cars.

Anyways about a couple weeks ago I purchased a G87 M2 manual and the emotion has been lacking. I've found myself not as excited to drive recently and almost wish I got something with a DCT instead or even the ZF 8hp.

What happened?
