I recently hit a pothole on the highway that came out of nowhere. It cracked the front left tire and bent the back left one.
I found a local wheel repair shop and they worked on it for an hour. Couldn’t weld it perfectly because the crack was too long and close to the spoke, so they didn’t charge me anything. I offered to pay and they refused to accept it. On top of that they found replacement OEM wheels for me and installed them at no charge (I just had to buy the wheels which were only $400 for all 4).
I am not giving out the shop name because I am not making this an advertising post but man does it feel good to find such an honest shop. Now they have a customer for life, and I wish all other shops understood how powerful that is.
