Car lost power after clicking cruise control what went wrong?
Post Body

Ok guys. So just now I was driving my car (2001 Honda Accord VTi-L) and entered the freeway. Got up to 100 km/h and kept steady so i hit the Cruise Control button. All of a sudden, the car began slowing down. I couldn't add power with the throttle. Everything was ok. No noise no nothing. Just the car slowed down and I pulled over to the emergency lane. When I came to a halt. Everything was fine. All lights worked. Radio etc. Engine still running. Just no acceleration. I decide to turn the car off. When I try turn it back on, it was struggling. Stuttering and won't start. What could have caused this? I might add the car was low on fuel too but the low fuel indicator never came on (unless, it's broken). This is a used car bought recently. Anyone know what happened? How I could fix it. Atm, it appears everything's working. Battery still showing a green healthy light. Just, when I try start it, it won't fire up. It just keeps making that starter sound. Thanks in advance for advice.
