Context
So this last week I went out to check of Steveland and he’s getting ready for the winter I see (I think, it’s our first season) and all his pitchers had emptied. Like he’s been knocked over. But I’m almost positive that didn’t happen. And now it’s raining today filling the stocks back up. Minus one that I think a wasp chewed a hole in (pictures 5 and 6 one is a hole one is a spot)
My questions
So he completely emptied is that normal for the time of year?
Is it harmful for the rain to fill up the stocks that can’t cover themselves anymore? (In the wild nothing can help the plan so I don’t imagine the answer is yes)
The hole is on one of the larger stocks and seems to have rendered that stock more of less useless to the plant. In the future what can I do about a hole?
