Plants in sunny window - how to reduce watering needs?

Post Body
Got 2 carnivorous plants. If it's hot, they need frequent watering or will stay dry. Is there like an easy to apply system? Would like to have them setup so I can leave them for 2 weeks without attending to them.
They are now in plastic nursery pots with a bigger outside pot, and I top them off at around 2/3rd.
