Newbie question about electrolytes

Post Body

I’ve searched and searched this sub and I can’t quite seem to find the exact answer I’m looking for. Sorry if it’s a duplicate.

I started the Carnivore diet about a month a half ago (July 1st). One of the things I was worried about with starting Carnivore diet is electrolytes. I sweat A LOT. More than even heavy sweaters I would imagine. On a hot busy day I can sweat through an undershirt and halfway through my actual shirt. So I def did not want to end up dehydrated. To battle this I got Keto Chow electrolyte hydration drops and started taking them BEFORE I had any symptoms. I also drink about 120oz of water daily. Since then I’ve had some leg cramps. None enough to cause me any concern. And some minor muscle twitches.

Fast forward to yesterday, I was doing some moving and it was quite hot out. And I started to cramp. But I had already had quite a bit of water and the hydration stops by this point. My question is, is it possible I’m taking too many electrolytes? Some posts I’ve found said that some don’t supplement electrolytes at all. And I’m starting to think I’m overdoing it. Are the symptoms of too much the same as too little? I also am experiencing slight constipation while eating no dairy and moderately high fat intake in my diet.

Also thanks in advance for your suggestions. I’ve got through 1.5 months just reading all you guys’ posts and answers. Yall are the best 💪🏾
