Started day 1 today of my first run at the carnivore diet after coming coming across this subreddit.
Breakfast ordered a breakfast bowl- it was on the menu as a two meat bowl with scrambled eggs, cheese, and jalapeños. I asked for sausage, bacon, and chorizo and to take out the jalapeños. Anyways I got the order and their were onions in it. I decided to just eat it and make sure I ask for no veggies for now on.
Lunch I ate a pound of smoked chicken and dipped it in barbecue sauce for a little extra flavor and moisture.
I drank a topo chico alcoholic beverage after the day or work and now I’m onto dinner which will be a 12oz steak.
How did I do for my first day? Are the onions, barbecue sauce, alcohol hard no’s? Are there any energy drinks I can have if I want? Soda? Alcohol? Coffee? Milk? Give me some feedback and information going into day 2.
