I have just started my carnivore journey (coming up on 2 weeks). No food allergies, and the weight loss is just a bonus. I Started because i was impressed with the results people had fighting depression.
I eat mainly beef, lamb, bacon and eggs.
Since beginning it has been 500 grams of ground beef. 400-500 gram steak, 4 eggs, 2 rashers of bacon. 150 grams of butter and salt. Some cheese and dairy products.
I have added salmon and prawns/shrimp in the last 2 days.
I drink about 3 litres of water a day.
Some days i cant eat all that because Iām just not hungry. According to calorie counter app my fat/protein ratio is quite good.
Yet since the beginning of week 2 i have had a flu (been sick). Its not going to stop me continuing carnivore, as i have never felt better despite being sick. Just wondering if i need to be taking supplements/vitamins? Or should i try put some organ meat into my meals, like liver?
